About Reading Circuits:

Quando o nosso interlocutor começa a manifestar sinais de incompriação há uma altura que começamos a fazer caretas, When our interlocutor begins to show signs of incomprehension about what we are trying to explain, there comes a time when we all we started making faces. Commonly, this type of signal corresponds to a type particular difficulty that concerns more the nature of what is intended explain and less to an explanatory impotence of those who want to do to understand. In minority cases, they may also be signs of impatience given the scarce intellectual resources of the interlocutor, and, in even more minority, may be expressions of physiognomic pathologies with a spectrum of more or less diverse causes. The case that interests this work has less to do with grimaces themselves rather than the difficulties they raise and therefore excludes all those anomalous cases that I just mentioned. My purpose too is not a portraitist, although, at certain times, the present work may tend towards a certain descriptive detail that usually characterizes this representation mode. Difficulty in this work must be understood, succinctly, as an accidental disturbance in the grammar of explanations
